Ecoisland Records “the LOGO”

Inspired by the stories of Island Records in the early days of Bob Marley and Chris Blackwell we wanted to find a logo that was equally iconic and recognisable as theirs. It needed to incorporate something of the original logo theme, encapsulate the record / disc idea and at the same time be distinctive from the rest of our brand. What we have ended up with, thanks to NeilMcCall or OrangePeel Creative is quite simply ICONIC.
The logo incorporates the three graded green rings of the Ecoisland Logo but adds a new dimension with the dark green at the bottom which gives it a kind of land and sky feel. The brand is still evident in the wordage and there is a clear link back to the days of Vinyl in the way it looks.
We hope that a number of memorable tracks and albums will get launched under this label and that in time whilst perhaps never achieving the legendary status of Island Records we hope to achieve a level of recognition for our indepence and cycling a large % of the proceeds back to the Community which we serve.
We love it in the other formats too – namely the vertical and widescreen versions. We hope you will come to love it too
